Bill, Re: "How do K6 and pentiumII compare at the same frequency?, and K6 much cheaper?" The PII is much easier to manufacture as demonstrated by the lack of 233mhz K6's ... Intel has no trouble with 300mhz PII's. At the same frequency, the PII is a little faster (2%-5%) on a number of benchmarks. I expect that AMD's .25um process will not be as aggressive in performance as compared to Intel ... thus AMD will continue to be two speed bins behind Intel. Make It So, Yousef
