The PII is much easier to manufacture as demonstrated by the lack of
233mhz K6's ... Intel has no trouble with 300mhz PII's. At the same
frequency, the PII is a little faster (2%-5%) on a number of benchmarks.
I expect that AMD's .25um process will not be as aggressive in performance
as compared to Intel ... thus AMD will continue to be two speed bins
behind Intel.
