The Saudi wife he met online seems to be the main problematic factor here. A "Manchurian candidate"? Or like one of those Bond films with a devious and sinister SPECTRE plot?

Saudi Arabia has been a major part of the problem all along, but protected by all the Bush's, pentgon and even Obama. I hope they start looking into the relationship between Saudi Arabia and all these radical Madrasses that teach radical Islam. I seem to have read somewhere that the Saudi's have spent, I think, $100 billion on them. A lot of them are in Pakistan. Pakistan is a Sunni nation just like Saudi Arabia. I once saw a photograph where kids matter-of-factly wear T-shirts with Osama bin Laden on the front of them. What seems radical to us, is apparently not radical in Pakistan, but run-of-the-mill. I especially hope they expose the Bush's complicity with, and cover-up for Saudi Arabia's involvement.

Unfortunately this will play very nicely into the fear mongering right wing base because this guy was about as close as you get to the legendary "sleeper cell" horror story. He was not an unemployed Algerian 20y/o in a Paris slum. He was doing well for himself and as a 2'nd generation American he should have been an example of the successful assimilation into USA society. So Trump, Cruz and the rest the clown show now have an excellent soapbox to scream from for a good chunk of the election cycle. This is now the worst terrorism incident on these are noble shores since the Brave Bush rose up to smite the evil doers after 9/11 and he kept those bastards off our homeland until replaced by a Dem and now look what happened! Its pretty clear we need another Rep in the WH. God save America!
