Nah.. you are forgetting TV news is now primarily produced for people who don't read well. They need concrete things to look at. Abstract won't work... they'll switch over to Family Feud if you do that. Those same folks, by the way are the most susceptible to commercials. Funny how that works. What I'd like to see is for a nightly network newscast to go live every night from a place on earth directly affected by climate change. A melting glacier one night and dead walruses, flooded villages in Bangladesh the next night.. starving farmer leaving the dried up fields and picking up a gun in Syria the next etc etc etc... the message might get through if you did it every night for say, five years. These viewers are slow....
