I don't think they're willing to do anything to stop it. But I wouldn't say they support it. They support structures and laws that make and keep our country a violent place- and by supporting those structures and laws (and by being against reasonable measures that would help stop some violence) they are indirectly supporting gun violence and mass shootings. But there aren't thousands of them cheering violence and mass shootings in NJ, are there? (let's get Trump on this.)

They are fearful people. They are afraid they won't have a gun when they need one, so they buy lots of them, and insist on keeping gun laws loose (so they can get more) and by doing this, they insure our country will become more violent, and more gun nutty, so people will think they will need more guns to solve a problem that was caused...by too many guns.
