While the RW wants us to remember the scary US "commies" of the 1950's and boogeymen of 60's and beyond, they don't recall anything about McVeigh. Ask your dittohead uncle about bombs found at Martin Luther King Day parades, and you will get a blank stare. The conservatives openly hated Nelson Mandella and MLK too - they deny this now. More recently, their lovelust for Cliven Bundy exposed them temporarily. Not so long ago, the right welcomed ultranationalists and anti-Semitism, it has just gone underground as the PR science took control their public-face frames. Listen to some of the rhetoric against George Soros and everyone from "hook-nosed" Barbara Streisand to the "vermin" running Hollywood (Michael Savage's rhetoric for example) -- its usually more coded, but right there today.
