Many thanks again Goldie........I restored Win7 and my scanner has reappeared......and it works.!! My stock portfolio list app from Yahoo is still sluggish tho, any thoughts on that?

Windows 10 is driving me nuts! A few days ago it started requiring me to login before it would open. I'm still putting up with that annoyance after thinking this board helped me solve that.

Now, I tried this morning to save an excel file to a thumb drive (removable drive F), as I've been doing for years without a hitch. Not so this morning. I get this:



I have NO idea what to do about my "user rights". Ideas certainly appreciated!
