For backing up my OS I like to alternate backup drives to have two sources to restore images from if one fails.

I haven't used online backups, however I see their strength for document storage that can be accessed from anywhere. Also document files are usually fairly small, so uploading them and downloading them wouldn't be a problem, however considering the size of large capacity drives today, it could be quite difficult to back everything up online.

GZ, Mozy looks pretty solid. I've used it for several years but let it lapse when onedrive showed up. support.mozy.com
