Some web pages are also designed to make copying and pasting difficult.

Another thing that can happen is that you copy something like a name at the beginning of a line, but then trying to paste the name in a search window leaves a blank. Usually when this happens the copy has inadvertently copied a carriage return, but if you do the paste into an editor like notepad, you will see a blank line and the text you were trying to copy below it.

Thanks, I had forgotten about the config settings. I tried it, we'll see if that does the trick.
I also noticed more websites are blocking copying for various reasons. Makes sense, actually.
Browsers are Updated versions, Firefox 42 and Chrome 47 on Windows 7.
