Maybe!! But what is wrong with being spolied?!!


It renders people incapable of distinguishing between a bear market and a flat market, for one.

I personally do not belive we are about to see a bear market! Everyone is talking about a terrible 1998 bear market, and I mean everyone! Therefore by the logic of the market everyone will end up being wrong!!

They could be wrong. But that doesn't mean that we will have a roaring bull-market either. It could well be a lacklustre one, like 1992, 1993 or 1994. That should dampen the enthusiasm, for sure.

As for tech stocks, I wouldn't advise any fresh commitment of money until at least late April -- after the Q1 98 results are out.
