NorthStar, it has both charting and portfolio management....However, I am considering switching to Trade Station, since I like to make homemade indicators, and with WOW you need an expert in computer lingo to make the indicators...From what I understand, Trade Station understands simple English...I am not aware of being able to purchase it on the web, but remember you want the professional version not the regular version...The professional version gives you trading indicators for scans and costs a bit more....Let me caution you, you can have the best system around, but you have to know how to read the stock itself, and that can only come through intense study.... You must commit to memory portions of 1. Technical Analysis of Stock Trends by Magee and Edwards 2. Technical Analysis Explained by Pring 3. Trading for a Living by Elder 4. How To Make Money in Stocks by Oneil 5. Day Trader by Jake Bernstein 6. Technical Analysis from A To Z by Achelis 7. Hit and Run Trading by Cooper 8. 5 Day Momentum Method by Cooper 9. Investment Secrets of a Hedge Fund Manager by Connors and Hayward 10.Street Smarts by Connors and Raschke These are just a few in my library..... Plus, you must have a passion never to quit, until you are the best trader you can be.....It must almost be an obsession, otherwise, the market will destroy you....There are too many out there smarter than us, ready to take your last dime.....I look upon trading as a war, where I am up against a country with the best technological weapons available....My downfall remains the ability to cut losses quickly.... That is what has taken the best of traders out of the market.... Regards, Mark
