"what do you do and test and check for a whole year?"

I have no idea.

The Infrastructure Development group is one that is ever increasing their resources and expanding to different departments throughout the company. They dictate what machines to buy and what operating system and applications go on it.

Most of the tech support calls are for people who midify their system to a point where it is non infrastructure compliant.

All Macs must be 8600 or 9600s wih Sys 7.5.5 and all PCs are Compaq 5300 series with NT 3.51.

When the Infrastructure is deployed all machines are upgraded at once (unless a user has left the machine off, or is on vacation.

Allegedly they solicit over a hundred volunteers who allow the beta Infrstructure to be installed and they test by working as normal throughout the year.
