Any stock on an uptick (i.e. best bid moved up) above $5 can be shorted unless it was an IPO in the last 30 days. Am I currently shorting PSIX, the answer is no because it doesn't trade in high enough volume. I would simply avoid the stock personally, but for those that don't mind trading in low volume stocks, I think it is a good short on price peaks. PSIX leadership never learned how to stop spending money. IMHO they will never realize a profit as they spend themselves into oblivion. At the shareholders meeting they talked about reducing the cash burn rate to become profitable. Now they're into a bunch of acquisitions? WTF is going on? When they have to get more money to pay for their past and future fiscal irresponsibility, guess who pays? The shareholders do. The IXC deal is a prime example. Seeya at less than a dollar. Who here really believes that the stock price of PSIX will hit $24 to make the IXC deal viable without dilution over the next year? Remember, in order for PSIX to get to $24 they have to BE MAKING TONS OF MONEY. PSIX continues to LOSE tons of money and more acquisitions, and buying this network capability here and upgrading this network here is preventing them from making ANY money EVER. Shrader's run the credit card up mentality without any self discipline is going to give PSIX to IXC and you the shareholder losses most if not all of your money.

<< Can you short PSIX at this level ($5) >>
Well, I did just manage to do that this morning, but the price went under $5 right away. I don't think you will be able to short it now as long as it stays under $5.
