I finally got around to seeing if the doctor bills submitted by my doctor got paid. The website shows that a check was made out to the doctor on 12/17/97 for services on 12/01/97. That would indicate about a 15 day claim settlement cycle give or take a few days for U.S. mail. I also had to go to a specialist on 12/10/97 we will see if the status of the claim turns to paid by 12/30/97.

Hi, Gary. I agree with most all you say. I also sense that those with some cash are in the drivers seat here. The market almost 'looks' like shooting fish in a barrel and I think we will drift a little longer. Speaking of cash, however, my uncle says OXHP is sitting on 1 billion of it. Does this jive with what Bear Sterns says? My uncle told me to buy Us health when it fell below 20 2 years back. When it fell to 15 he said he was still buying and that in 6 months it would be at 50. In 5 months it was bought by Aetna at 50. I agree people want to flip it (the thought has crossed my mind once or twice). My conclusion is that there is no major hurry to buy, that it may even drift to 121/2, but I do not believe it is going to collapse and dissapear. I think it could be played for a Christmas rally point or two but can be bought cheaper - AND SHOULD BE!! Merry Christmas everyone!! Btw, have you looked at Esst (speaking of 'tax bounce candidates'?). Any others you like?
