The original assumption was that the guy wasn't living in a Sharia Muslim household. His relatives also seemed to think that was the case. As it turns out now it's pretty apparent that he WAS radicalized and met up with somebody that shared his views. The people in that town are just lucky that he got ticked off at somebody at that Christmas party and didn't get a chance to use all those bombs and ammunition to hit that school they seemed to be looking at. So far...terrorists haven't been that efficient. We can only hope that continues...
