Greetings All:

I am not an AOL bear or bull. I have no interest in the stock. But, I suspect it will crash soon. Users are starting to disconnect from the service in huge numbers.
About 2 months ago they changed the system, somehow. Zillions of us that had used the system for months (1 1/2 years for me) had a decreasing ability to access the web. We all uniformly, on the same day, all started receiving messages that there were such internet addresses. These address included SI, Yahoo, and even our home pages.
In these 2 months there have been hundreds of messages asking for help in (1)the members helping members section and (2)the computing section. AOL told us that we must have starting doing something wrong all on the same day , no matter how long we had been on the service.
Are only remedy seems to be to reinstall AOL each time we want to use the web. There have been many messages of people indicating that they are going to quit AOL. I have already got another service, myself.
I think AOL is about ready to implode under its own weight.

Mike
