We probably will not need it
Asbury tailings pond is in care and maintenance right now. Its already a tailings pond.
The municipality owns it and must care for it. There is no approval "yet" but everything is up to date environmentally including water samples outside the pond. Its part of care and maintenance.

"it's looked after" as in under care and maintenance but not at CCB expense.
Before CCB could do anything with it, it must be updated to comply with current standards by govt before being turned over. In essence, CCB would start with a clean known state and there would be more accountable going forward.
