Would there be interest from LOR in buying DISH (Echostar?). Seems like Echostar I, II and/or III could beam into Mexico and provide immediate DTH to that country, as well as adding their 1M+ subs in the US to LOR's cash flow. Don't know why LOR would NOT be interested in operating a DTH company in the US unless they are worried it might hurt their satellite manufacturing business, as some DTH competitors may not want to buy satellites from a competitor.

Maybe LOR is not interested in operating a retail-consumer business like DISH, since they seem to be more of a carriers' carrier type operator right now. But in Mexico they will actually be providing DTH service to consumers, right? That's why I wonder if DISH would be a good fit for LOR now.

Any thoughts?
