Of course not all Japanese hold a grudge, but many did and there is still an underlying racism here towards the white race.
You can usually tell when someone is holding a racial grudge. No Japanese-American I know of holds one. They are among the least racist people I know, and that includes my fellow Korean-Americans.

I personally think you're projecting your white guilt upon the victims of the Japanese internment camps.
