JF....Dobson has about 5mill shares of TRKN...I think he has a vested interest to see TRKN succeed. Dobson is a techie type of guy....he developed the Forcefill and Flowfill technology and I think he has made some advances in Cu. Fiancially, I think TRKN is in a better position than they were 3 months ago....they have raised $30mill to pay off the bank loan and layed off about 40% of the employees.

The highend etch business is too competitive for a TRKN to compete in and they figured that they would never have the critical mass to make it in that business....therefore, they sold the MORI source.

At this point they will not be competing at the big fabs like they have done....they will focus on 2nd/3rd tier companies for small sales here and there...the kind of sales that AMAT or LRCX could careless about. Basically, TRKN is starting from ground zero to start their business again.

They still have a unique CVD product, a PVD product that hopefully AMAT is endorse by using the Forcefill technology, and their low end etch systems....onto which I think they will mount the MORI source to enhance the tool while still targeting the low end market.

The $64,000 question is ....will fabs buy from them due to their precarious position?? only time will tell, it's a long shot.

Happy holidays
