Subject: Negative and False Comments...A number of investors have contaced me and others at Zoltek in the past several weeks, concerned about an outpouring of negative (and false) information on our company at Silicon Investor and Motley Fool sites. After reviewing several of the messages, we concluded that the two most vocal naysayers on Silicon Investor are Jake Heib and Tarasen W. On Motley Fool it is Tarasen W. Afteer some checking for the identity of Jake Heib, I believe we were able to determine his real identity...Though signing his name as Jake Heib, the source of these messages is also William Tarasen or Tarasen W. William Tarasen was working in a low level marketing position at BFGoodrich when we signed the application development agreement..He then worked for Zoltek and BFGoodrich as a consultant in support of this project. After one year, at the end of 1995, he was dismssed for poor performance. Not only is his minimal information out of date, but his comprehension of the carbon fiber industry, markets, and technology is very limited...More than that, he is a biased observer with an ax to grind. We believe that Tarsen and a few other disgruntled former employees have entered into an unholy alliance with speculators who have been shorting Zoltek stock. We want any investor who visits this site to be aware of the situation. Zoltek is a company with a strong track record and an exciting future. We strictly follow the letter and the spirit of all financial and SEC reporting requirements on communicating our results and prospects. In mid-January, we will be publishing our 1997 annual report, which will provide a comprehensive update of our progress in accomplishing the goals set in our ZOLTEK 2000 Plan. We urge any interested investor to contact us if they would like a copy...Sincerely, ZOLTEK CORPORATION, Zsolt Rumy, President and CEO.
