Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is being issued by Magellan Capital Corporation (Bulletin Board Symbol: OVIS): Magellan Litigation Services announced today that it has filed a lawsuit in the California Superior Court, District of Los Angeles, against Olympus Ventures Inc. (Bulletin Board Symbol: OVIS); Gary Morgan, Olympus' CEO; Roland Breton, Olympus' President, and certain stock promoters to be named later, for fraud, stock manipulation, conspiracy and violation of securities laws. Magellan alleges that Olympus, Morgan, and Breton, acting in concert with unnamed stock promoters, have manipulated the market for Olympus stock and inflated the price of its shares from $.20 to $2.31 per share, without any changes in fundamental value of the company. Magellan further alleges that Morgan and Breton illegally issued over 2,000,000 restricted shares of Olympus stock to selected stock promoters, for little or nothing. Morgan, Breton and these stock promoters then manipulated the market for Olympus' shares and sold these unregistered shares as free trading shares to the public at grossly inflated prices. These illegal shares constitute two-thirds of the total outstanding shares of Olympus. The defendants and stock promoters, using false names to conceal their true identities, formed a syndicate to manipulate the price of Olympus shares. To accomplish the market manipulation, Morgan, Breton, and stock promoters utilized a Internet web site at siliconinvestor.com at a location called ''Stock Talk Olympus Ventures.'' The syndicate was formed in June of 1997 when the price of Olympus' shares were $.20. The syndicate members exchanged over 500 messages with each other, directed towards manipulating the price of Olympus' shares to today's price of $2.31 per share, an increase of 824%. Incredibly the messages describing the market manipulation of Olympus stock can still be viewed at siliconinvestor.com . Copies of these messages have been sent to the SEC. As Magellan learns the true names of the syndicate members they will be added to the lawsuit.
