The problem with airlines is that it seems the entry is pretty easy (simple) and the competition heats up everytime someone says "oligopoly". We just heard this in US "only 3 airlines left" and then suddenly we have Spirit, Frontier, etc. kicking AAL, etc. in local flights.

Airlines might be good trading stocks if you know when to get in and get out. But "cheap" might not mean they are going up.

Same as with autos.
