Did you just decide to skip over the rest of the reasons listed in the article?

No. I responded to one factual error in the article. It is significant one if you are trying to appreciate the article from a Western view point.

Otherwise the author presents a strong case. Even as a strong case, however, it is a mistake on your part to present it as the definitive view point of all Muslims or all people living in the regions you identify. Muslims vary in their viewpoints about whether or not Western military is a benefit or a hindrance and especially considering the counterparts in each of the conflicts throughout the Middle East. When someone tries to tell me what the rest of the world feels or thinks, my eyes just start rolling.
If Obama decided to allow an ISIS base in Alabama, would we ignore it as Americans?

1. Obama is not a King.
2. America is not at war with Saudi Arabia.
3. I have not suggested the concerns about Western bases in Saudi Arabia should be ignored, only that they don't excuse 911.

As far a Trump goes, I have already cleared the air on how I feel about him and his rhetoric.
