So how come we have one mass shooting a day with 200 million (?) concealed weapons carriers in this country?

Gun free zones disarm them

Shep,

As usual, you get the facts wrong and the logic backwards.

There aren't 200M concealed weapon carriers in this country. That would 2 out of every 3 people. Obviously that isn't the case.

But there are more weapons sold today than any other years BECAUSE there is one mass shooting a day. People don't trust that the authorities can keep them safe from these mass shootings, so they're voting with their feet.

And it's not like it's a simple decision to buy a gun. It's freakin' expensive, and there are hoops to jump through. I wouldn't mind even more hoops to jump through, but the reality is that no matter what, more people are going to arm themselves when they don't trust the government to keep them safe.
