O/49er:

Minor point: au contraire doesn't have an accent on the terminal "e".

Major point: How do you get accent marks on your posts or e-mail?

Merry Xmas.

Hi 49r,

I guess your right. Maybe I did miss your point. In fact I read it a
couple of times more and I think I still miss your point, so let me try
again. Straighten me out if I am off the mark again.

What your saying is that you feel that 3rd world countries should
have and open economy like ours before they can get any help from the
IMF? That because most Americans are deep in debt that they can't take
advantage of the lower prices that are out there due to the conditions
in the rest of the world due to the strong dollar?

Now the part that has gone over my head is the Mex. thing. I was under
the understanding that the Mexicans paid of the loan 2 yrs early. I'm
missing something here with the Germany thing. Please explain.

Later,

Ron
