You're right, MJ, and let's not forget that the rules allow the delegates to vote for whomever they please. They are not bound by any rules or laws to vote for whom the voters chose. When we vote, we are actually voting for delegates who have pledged to vote for the selected candidate, rather than for the actual candidate ourselves. It's another possible out for the RINO establishment, and it's all "nice and legal". It works the same way in the national election. In the end, any delegate could capriciously say, "I think that Mr. Trump is not really a Republican, so I am changing my vote to Mr. Bush," or, "I think that Mr. Trump has shown himself to be a bigot and racist, and that's not what America is about, so I am changing my vote to Mrs. Clinton." So, it's all about the delegates. They can vote for whomever they want, with no repercussions.
