Any news (referenced-no rumours please) on who sgi's new ceo will be? Any opinions on the degree of upside if the new ceo is of the same calibur as those who revitalised at&t and sunbeam {they both more than doubled off their lows}? My current perception is that sgi is becoming largely forgotten, which is a classic Lynch type buying opportunity. I can't call the low, but even if it's 10, it's important to remember that sgi at 13 is getting close to book 1.3 and psr is at a low of 0.65 and imo most of the bad news including the expectations of more earnings dissappointments are already factored into the price. With a psr high of almost 3 in 95, even a return to the median psr suggests a doubling of price, and some good news regarding who will be steering the ship, is just the ticket. Some good sales #'s and evidence of a viable marketing strategy and stronger customer support would'nt hurt either.
