How in the heck can you BELIEVE that FLOODING the atmosphere with CO2 would NOT affect our climate?

Because we had ice ages when the co2 was over 4000 ppm and in a green house it's not what causes temperatures to rise. In fact plants thrive around 1000ppm and I see only benefits from getting back to a historical average - the world has been running a co2 deficit for a long time now.

What we humans and animals cannot deal with is cold - so a slightly higher co2 planet will have massive benefits for bio-diversity.

Tossing another tire on the fire - you're welcome. :-)

I don't think most anti-alarmists think that a large increase in CO2 doesn't affect the climate. They might think other factors counteract it, they might think that other factors increase it but its more due to other factors, they might think that the world is warming, and largely due to human emissions of CO2, but the warming wont be too extreme, or will have some positive effects, or will cost a lot to stop and that the money would be better spent on mitigation, geo-enginering, and/or other problems that are worse or subject to more cost effective amelioration, or have some other opinion. There are a lot of anti-alarmist positions that have little or nothing to do with "FLOODING the atmosphere with CO2 would NOT affect our climate".
