I suppose I prefer season one which I think has the stronger characters and is more similar to the movie. I would say that the difference based on early episodes was fairly substantial, but season two has closed the gap with the momentum of recent episodes. It's the one with more action.

Heyward may not be a superstar, but sometimes these days appearances (smoke and mirrors) count for a lot as well. Cespedes really stunk for nearly half of his time with the Mets, but his hot streak created a presence that made the lineup look like something and they lived up to it. The Cubs really didn't really need that sort of thing, but it shouldn't hurt.
