Ron,
A little more short term is the S-3 filing yesterday by AVNT.
VLSI has filed to sell their entire holdings of 522,192 shs.
The S-4 previously filed notes the investment banker representing AVNT in the TMA merger, a market maker, their PR firm, is the same company, Wessels, Arnold.
A favorite reading source of short sellers is the section of the SEC filing that is called Investment Risks. Take a look at the S-3 filed on the 22nd and try to find a reason to be long this stock.

Hi Ron. I'm trying to do some research on AVNT, and your post makes me think we have some deadline approaching. Is Jan. 15 the day the judge makes his determination in the infringement case? Or is it earnings? Thanks
