Had I actually bought 100 shares of each of those 3 stocks....

I shouldn't admit to this, but in the period just before the summer of '96 I actually owned

500 INTC, sold at 80, pre-plit
1000 IBM, sold at 110, pre-split
1000 HWP, sold at 48
1000 DELL, sold at around 70 pre-split (memory fuzzy here, probably result of attempts to maintain last shred of self-esteem.)

there must be over a quarter of a big one in there, if i had the courage to add it all up.
