Well, I agree there should be more discussion of these issues. However, which of the moneyed interests see the benefit of that discussion?




None do. So basically keep the American people over consuming.

Money is also continually spent to protect the profits of the MIC, the gun manufacturers, medical insurance industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the investment banking sector, etc.

Glad I got the DVR as can't imagine having to watch all those Big Pharma magic pill commercials that will 'save' us. Honorable mention to Obamacare, the food and drug industries plus of course the Big Ag Biz for making all this happen..
