Cant disagree with opalaprils note, nor fitnich, nor tharos. We are obviously in a downtrend. Duh...... So one must ask some questions.
(longterm oriented). Does xoma have the capitial or can obtain the capital at a fair rate to survive? How low can stock go? Can I tolerate it? Will the dow drag it down? I have answered those questions for myself, you should all have your own gameplans. IMO I feel that the ultimate result for the stock price continues to be the progress of bpi products. We do also have a building base of royalty stuff further out.
The major question mark is the interm. Perhaps may-june to some meningococcemia news, perhaps 2 years to a p3 trauma result. Lots of other possibilties in between. Whatever the actual value the stock could over-react to the downside, or run up on no news or anticipation of news well in advance. It all comes back to bpi. If bpi
products are good it doesnt matter where you bought your stock, if you hold it you should do well. If it doesnt work, its another matter.
This process (work, not work) is and will be ongoing, and the stock price will be liable to swing with investor moods and perceptions.
The end result will be the same does it work or not?
PS_thanks ellen for the timeframe post on updates.
