Del, it's cold because we don't turn the heat on!!! Scrooge incarnate or something!!! Incidentally, I missed those programs last night on PBS because I was at the dentist, having an emergency because I broke a front tooth. What a sweet dentist, to cancel his holiday plans to come in and help me, while my daughter served as his assistant in an otherwise empty office, rummaging around in drawers for stuff and holding the suction apparatus so I wouldn't drown. Anyway, did you catch the one about the mother language? What did they say?
