The mind boggles at what the judiciary must be like in New Hampshire if, as jlallen claims, he turned down a "rubber stamp" judgeship because of poor pay. Think of the all the Portia School of Law for Girls grads who jumped at the chance. Portia was ranked as 45th for providing government hack lawyers, which is pretty darn impressive for a fourth tier law school.
