Hi ATG, more fireworks to come??? Up or Down??? I think the bulls may be on the retreat, but WDIK, I just keep callin the beara till i sees it -g- The NYSE McClelland Oscillator made a minor change reading yesterday (-1 point) which usually usually means a large move in the major averages with 2-4 trading sessions and we are still far off the oversold condition of Oct 27th (nyse anyway), while supports on 200daq and dow supports appear to be flimsy and a weak close today and Friday, could set up a doozy for the 29th. Lots of shorts probably have covered for the holiday creating less liquidity to hold up the market. Also, I would think that a few more earnings warnings may be forthcoming, for the post holiday hangover. NYSE Summation index continues to leak downward off three descending peaks with an angle that would scare even the boldest Long Haul Truck Driver. Prior to 10/27 we saw a spike up in silver, then gold, similiarly to what we are seeing now. Maybe that was the fake out of the transfer from paper to hard assets and this is the real thing. Bulls and Bears have both ended up in the popcorn machine -g- Also AOL had it's spike to 90 just prior to 10/27. ATG: Thanks for the info. Too late for the 130 but your 120 looking mighty good from here. Very interesting situation. Good management, no debt, lots of cash on hand, and a sham Justice Department action to divert attention from folks in and around the White House. Hi Arik, Santa Claus is a myth, just like BK -ggg- bwdik. Santa Claus didn't come to call (first time in 7 years, no rally day before Christmas), so WILL the Bears crawl on Broad and Wall??? bwdik. DOW on the climb this morning but dipsters are not nibbling on the Post Christmas Lemon Merinque Soft Pie. This MSFT chart is almost a duplicate of the Merck chart before it's slide in the early 90's, when the Clinton health care smacked the drug stocks. Similarly, today we have government action pointed at Soft - another Mark Twain rhyme? bwdik. Merck snapped back to the neckline (would be around 129 for msft) before it began it's slide in earnest. Might be a good call candidate to watch, for a pop back to the neckline in the next several trading sessions. What do you think a good support would be? 100 -g- Second day in a row for minor change reading in NYSE McClelland Oscillator (-1), setting up some possible fireworks for Monday or Tuesday. We had three consecutive minor change readings before 270 point spill. bwdik. Could go the other way. If we break 7580 on Friday I don't think so bwdik.
