Can you chant the words ' secular enlightenment'? If you want truely to get somehwere, think less about religion & prophets, back to a movement that changed Europe, in free study of science & art, parlimentary gov't, personal freedoms. Islam was once very much center citadels of learning, Greek philosophy, science & art, then the religionists took over

We put Israel on the map so we could have one secular gov't centrally in place there, surrounded by Islamic fundamentalists.

On Secularism....of course no mystery why religionists leaders would take a similar view over in the ME . They would try pushing Turkey back into some mirroring of Medieval Ages.

He is also misusing the word, ironic that Islam flowered over a 1000yrs ago when it was more secular.
