ha! You do have a point though. Insider buying certainly is not a "no brainer" that the stock will do well. In fact I don't believe no brainers exist - there's always something unexpected that can happen, such as some of your examples there. And yes, I've also bought stock in the past where a particular insider (the CEO) was buying frequently and the company turned out to be a complete fraud and all done by the same Insider who was buying along the way to give the impression that the company was undervalued (it wasn't). So trust is a huge part of it and there is very little of that in the stockmarket.

LOL

Ralph this is Murphy
Murphy Ralph

Yeah or they buy the token 10 or 20 k and create some buzz. Meanwhile CEO Scambody is having his friend short against in size....they will square up in cash at a later date.

After doing this for 20 years I'm convinced the venture is largely a platform to transfer wealth to those 'in the know' from those whom are led to believe they are in the know...lol

But every blue moon you find an honest management team running an exponentially growing business (or a killer drill play) and you ride that 10 or 20 bagger to exceptional profits. It's a treasure hunt with only half a map but when you nail one it's well worth it......<g>

Get in early on the seed rounds if you can. Not a lot of people have died jumping out of a first story window.
