Are these guys serious?? They rate the stock a STRONG BUY yet have a price target only $9 away from where it was earlier this week. If indeed they only saw appreciation of $9 on a stock with as much volatility as AMAT, why would they rate it STRONG BUY?? Just doesn't sound right ot me.... It does not suprise me in the least. Everytime these timid folks look at a projected outlook for the year, they only give the upside potential at max. 25%. They consider that a good year. I have never seen an analyst predict that a companies stock will jump 100% Too much risk for them in their ivory towers. Once AMAT starts the momentum again, we should all enjoy the ride. happy holidays too all
