Glad to see that there are some people here without experience that are willing to try their hand at a little hardware work. Installing a sound or graphics card requires plugging it in the slot and fastening it with one screw. Higher end graphics cards require supplemental power by connecting a single power cable.

For drives like SSDs, Hard Drives, and optical drives like DVD burners, they have 4 screws and 2 cables for data and power to install.

Minor computer upgrades to desktops are very easy though...
