My guess is that Toshiba would have to do a bios update to fix the keyboard issue with Win10 for that model.

Some other laptops are also having some keyboard problems with Windows 10.

Certain laptop keys stopped working after Windows 10 update (ASUS 1225b)

Ron I see several vendors have the same problem with W10 . I know you've tried several solutions. I'm posting this in case one of these suggestions work for you. Good Luck

"I have the same problem with my Satellite L745. This type is not supported to upgrade to Windows 10. Than a friend told me to turn off the Fast StartUp. So I did it. And it's work."

SOLVED - for me anyway but worth a try.

Go into device manager & uninstall the pointing device - for me it was a Lenovo pointing device!.

Restart Windows & ALL the keys now work as they should.

I hope this is the universal solution for everyone!!

I had the same issue, which I resolved by uninstalling the synaptics pointing device driver. After uninstalling it detected the device by itself and all the keys started working as normal.
I have a Toshiba satellite L775-S7102.
Hope this helps

Other suggestions mentioned there as well.

After installing windows 10, windows start to download and install update . I see
Synaptics pointing Device driver version 19.0.9.5 conflicts with my laptop Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 . Problem is after updating (installing) some keys did not work such as keyboards 1,2,3,4 and spacebar.

So I enter control panel, choose Uninstall program and click Synaptics pointing Device driver to uninstall it. After that my keyboard get back to normal.

After that I get in Toshiba webstite and download touchpad driver (Synaptic pointing Device driver version 15.2.11.1) for my laptop, I installed it and see the laptop works normally.

I had the same issue regarding keyboard mapping. I went into control panel and language and found that my language was English (UK) not English (Australia) and that the keyboard map was incorrect for my device. I added English (Australia), moved it up in the list and then deleted English (UK). All fixed and very simple!!!

I had the very same problem after installing Windows 10 on my son's Toshiba Satellite L7750-S7340 Laptop. The top row of number keys (1 - 4) didn't work, and my space bar would only work if I pressed it with the "FN" key. There may have been other problems, but I was focused on just the two previously described.

I did all the usual trouble shooting things with no luck, although I noticed something wierd in device manager and returned to it after exhausting all the tips found on boards. I had noticed that my keyboard was listed as Lenovo and it had mouse drivers too; showing the mouse was Lenovo, as well.

I have been using a Microsoft wireless mouse (with USB dongle) and my keyboard was always Toshiba. So I removed the Lenovo Keyboard (and drivers) and the Lenovo mouse (and drivers) from my system. I rebooted and upon start-up everything was running normally again. Try this and see if it works for you. GOOD LUCK!
