Places like Africa I see as the future of renewable energy. Just as they skipped land line phones, they'll skip central power generation and distribution. They'll go with the much more reliable distributed generation. Where a single lightning strike can take down huge portions of our grid, they'll have no 'grid' to be taken down.

They're smarter than you, that's why they're not going to hold themselves back with unreliable energy sources.
