B.D. I agree. Recommend that Zenith not even showcase Divx at the International CES in their main booth. Either send show participants over to the RCA booth where they are showcasing it or display a working model in another area of the CES.

Too many, very vocal anti-Divx, pro-DVD dealer/owners around to possibly cause a fuss. Also, Zenith wants to keep the focus on the intro of HDTV.

When Circuit City wants to spend some big bucks to promote the arrival of Divx, then is the time to come above ground. Regardless if it's a big hit or not, should create a lot of activity at local Zenith dealers, come late March/early April.

B.D. Forgot to mention that I'm the DVD bete noire on the anti-Divx bulletin board: dvdresource.com

These guys (mostly DVD video dealers) are Messianic about DVD.

My issue with them is that both DVD and Divx should compete in the marketplace. They want to kill Divx in its womb.

The site is also a good forum to promote HDTV.
