some of that I could see, but for alot of people, the IPO is a ten year march as it is. For the founders, that is usually their first ability to get money out of a long haul.

alot of early qualcomm people had to wait 6 years to get to IPO and have any cash at all. I know in my case, I drove an old beat up car for a long while until we went pulic and then cashed stock and took care of alot of things I did not do during cash starved days.
