elmer, Your assuming AMD can never sucessfully ramp the k-6 above 233. Now look how has decided to become the jockey on a jackass. I think AMD should get the new fab finished in Dresden secure sufficent capacity to produce 100million chips per year. File for reorganization and flood the market with cheap chips and see how Intel responds to the preasure. By then every boxmaker will be using the chip at some level. It's a radical idea but lets watch and see what the Asian to the commidity chipmakers. We could see MU and NSM selling below book very soon from just such a stratgdy deployed by the Koreans, and possible the Japaneese. By the way don't waste your time responding to this it's way over your head sunny. Just sit back and lurk on this one.
