Re: BDC's

Management is an important component so if/when they do make public Buys, it's worth noticing. I would want to keep my investment small and maybe in a few BDC's and/or an ETF. Just the nature of their business, makes it risky. The assets that secure their investments are not liquid and/or easily sold. On any Black Swan downside scenario, things could get ugly for the BDC and there could be forced selling that would be well under the stated NAV.

Enjoy the high dividends now but as a long term hold there are much safer investments. I do not own any BDC's but from time to time I do look at what they own. As far as PSEC, I bet they are underwater on the E&P holdings.
