Charles, I remember them well, high price and scarce and full of hot spots as they did not have the mode stirrers perfected. I also read about the internal debate(fight) at Intel about the low end.Apparently there will be a gutted one for the low end, but if you gut it it will be inferior to the assorted Ks and Cys. So the quandry expands. It looks more and more like the slot 1 was a serious marketing error. In Toronto screwdriver shops the K6 costs more than the pentium same speed. Bill Bill
