While no one has commented, I imagine the main thing most of us have been thinking about
this week is that preview in which Thomas Barrow is in a rage over someone going from rags to
riches while he is apparently being let go. It's the one that ends with him reminding people, "I am the butler".

Thomas ascending to the butler's position isn't a big surprise, as Carson is probably on his honeymoon with Mrs. Hughes, or has otherwise stepped down for the time being. The question is, who is Thomas raging over?
My initial thought was "Marigold", but the comment of her being "upstairs sipping tea" sounds more like an adult is returning. I next was thinking "O'Brien", but the possibility that she married into wealth seems a bit far fetched. An alternative was suggested to me that "Gwen", the ambitious lady's maid from Season One, might have met Branson in the U.S., married, and was now bringing back "Sybie" to see her grandparents. This sounds like a good story line, but I'm not sure what odds to give it.

If you know the answers for a fact, don't tell me. If not, what do you think?
