Sorry to jump in here. I have been following Kodak. Looking for a bottom to get in at. They gambled heavily on digital and have had very poor results. Seems mass market digital is still a ways off. This together with Fuji competition has hammered their stock big time!

IMHO, by the time digital kicks in, silver will be further supported by the POG, and will negate any effects of digital.

Siver has physical properties that extend its usefulness beyond industrial purposes only. I ask you, did silver serve any purpose before the advent of its photographic commercial use? As demonstrated through history, silver has also a unique monetary role yet to be fully played-out in our time.
