>>I thought that the split will create more up and downs,<<

Why would you think that? There are twice as many shares now, so the price will have a harder time moving either up or down.

Many big institutions do not invest heavily in stocks that are under $20. Iomega undoubtedly realizes this, as Institutional Ownership of IOM stock has never really happened. So, why not keep the price down, so Individual suckers will think it's "cheap," or "on sale?"

Druid, re: ups and downs

Druid,

The high low yesterday was $12.75/$11.75.

That's a $2 spread pre-split.

How much volatility do you want?

:)

Actually, volume has been anemic the past 2 days, and we've held really good.

I am optimistic. Perhaps though, we'll have to wait until January for some serious upward movement.
